NDAEYC Scholarships, Grants and Meritorious Service Award
Higher Education Scholarships
Are you pursuing an education in Early Childhood Education? How about a CDA (Child Development Associates Credential)? One of the best benefits of membership in NDAEYC is higher education scholarships. NDAEYC awards up to three $400 scholarships that can be used for college courses or CDA fees. Please contact Susan Godsell at godsell@srt.com or forward the completed scholarship form and documentation to her.
So far in 2011, NDAEYC awarded one $400 scholarship to Cassandra Becker for her work through University of Mary for a fellowship to Reggio Emelia in Italy. This was a great way to benefit from her NDAEYC membership, and we were happy to help her along the way. Two more scholarships await qualified applicants, so look into it today!
In 2010, NDAEYC awarded Higher Ed Scholarships to Lisa Bennett, Joan Fuller, and Candace Patterson. These scholarships allow deserving students to continue their work toward early childhood degrees, and CDA Applicants can also apply for these scholarships.
2012 NDAEYC will again offer three $400 Scholarships to NDAEYC members. Please complete your application by June 1, 2012. Contact Susan L. Godsell, VP for Professional Development, at godsell@srt.com for an application or click on the link below.

Conference Attendance Grants
Don’t miss your opportunity to attend the NDAEYC Fall Conference on Scholarship!
Complete the Conference Grant Application and send it in by October 1st, and you could be attending the Saturday Session cost free! Only members of NDAEYC can apply for these grants, it is a member benefit.

In 2010, NDAEYC awarded Conference Attendance Grants to Alicia McLelland, Joan Fuller, and Candace Patterson. The total awarded was $600.
2012 NDAEYC will again offer Conference Attendance Grants to NDAEYC Members attending NAEYC, Midwest AEYC, or NDAEYC Conferences or Seminars. If interested, please contact Susan L. Godsell, VP for Professional Development, at godsell@srt.com for an application or click on the link below.

NDAEYC Meritorious Service Award
Nominate a member that has made important contributions to NDAEYC and to our Early Childhood Community this year by completing the attached nomination form and sending it to Susan Godsell at godsell@srt.com by Sept. 15th, 2011. 2010 awarded to Joanne Yearwood, 2009 awarded to JoAnn Brager.
2011 NDAEYC Meritorious Service Award will be presented at the 2011 Fall Conference in Minot, North Dakota. Please take the opportunity to nominate a NDAEYC Member that has made contributions to our Early Childhood Community and the Children of North Dakota.
