Two awards were presented to leaders in the Early Childhood Field. JoAnn Brager received the 2009 Meritorious Service Award for her dedication to early childhood and on-going leadership in North Dakota. Senator Robert Horne received the Children’s Champion Award for his work on behalf of North Dakota's youngest citizens.
